HOPE

The Call #2 ‘Let the Storm Rage On’ There will always be chaos, it doesn’t have to be me. We’re born into darkness, but the truth sets us free. The winds will howl and the waves rage war. Empires fall as they have before. When the dawn of the morning breaks with my fate, I hope to be standing in the storm’s wake. Let the storm rage on, let the people talk. Words are only words colliding with their walk. They’re full of fear when they need hope. Send them a song and let the storm rage on. A call to rise. A call to awake. A call to feel alive. We can’t control what life throws our way and we can’t always control how we feel, but we always have a choice in how we react. I choose HOPE. I choose respect. I choose love. I choose a faith in mankind to find the good in their hearts and to feed and nourish that good so that it grows strong, to lift each other up. We are all brothers and sisters. We are not one but many and we will stand strong.

Our Choice 04:12
Our Choice Walk with me into the night, walk with me into the morning rain I want to feel the light. I want to find the peace of mind that you can do the same, if you’d like. We’ll find joy inside. Let it shine, let it shine. In the arms of HOPE I spread my wings. I’ve got love in my heart and though it seems the days are long and the nights are cold, when the harvest comes I’m overflowing with healing words. Everywhere I look, people are trying to start fires They’re just throwing us together, using us to be the lighters. But the rock, it ain’t the problem, it’s the hand that’s using it. They want what they can’t have and what they have, they’re just abusing it. The rock itself is in a pivotal position, if we stand alone people want to acquisition. but if we move with the crowd, roll with the beat, we’re adding weight to a motion that’s got a root with no seeds. Rock, paper, scissors - yo, you gonna take a blow? Go ahead and tell me something you don’t think I know Here I am, you got me listening. Go ahead and tell me something about that tune you think I’m whistling. All these songs, are they even worth finishing? Vocabulary these days, it is diminishing. Go ahead, have your say, but be resilient if you want to have a pay day. They’ll take it (your choice) away. They took our words. They took our land. They’ve taken everything and They’ll take you by the hand. Lead you down the street, make you think you’re marching to your own beat, but the drummer’s got a hummer and you’re riding in the back seat. Things speed up when they switch to 5th gear, got you looking around going “How did I get here?” - They took it (our choice) away.

Fire in Our Hearts She searched through the valley and she searched through the dell. Lost her soul to that North Wind’s wail. Found it deep within the heart of a mountain somber, strong and dark. She cried, “Fire! I’ve got fire in my heart.” The ocean lays out as the waves hit the shore. Take me away like you did before. Find me deep within the caves of irony. My heart is enslaved to this fire in our hearts. We’ve got fire in our hearts. The Wind speaks to me as she moves through the trees. She says, “Child, watch your step, you know not what you need.” Moves me through the swamps and the glades, through the evergreens, Lord, I’m ever-made by this fire in our hearts. We’ve got fire in our hearts.

Take My Words Do you think that you’re right? Do you think that you’re wrong. Do you think you can fix this with the words of a song? Can you feel my heart? Can you feel my soul? Can you feel this love fading slow? Are you willing to fight? Are you willing to grow? Love has no boundaries, except the ones that you know. Take my heart into your hands. Give it your love, give it your plans. I’ll give you my soul, I’ll give you my mind, for a piece of your heart, for a piece of your time. Take my words deep inside. They may burn, but it’ll be alright.

Hope 05:33
Hope I look into your eyes, I see HOPE, but I feel so alone. The world seems lost these days. We’re just trying to cope, but we seem to have lost our way. So take me higher and higher away. It seemed so dire to the plans we made. When there’s no going back and there’s no room to stay, just keep moving on and find a way. I walk into the light, I want peace, but I only find shame. The shadows are my home. The gravel burns its way into my knees, but it’s not the right pain, my heart still says ‘no’. So I’ll go deeper and deeper in this hole. I’ll keep digging and digging until I hit my soul. When there’s no going back and there’s no room to stay, just keep moving on and find a way. I dive into your heart, I find pain, but I also find love. The beauty of pure faith. Sometimes we just need to run, not escape. So bring me closer and closer into you. I need to mold this point of view. When there’s no going back, and there’s no room to stay, just keep moving on and you’ll find your way.

A Heart Will Find its Way She went North, on that long dirt road, and told her soul to stay. They went South, through paths unknown, but paths will make their way. We went West, sought to call it home, but home’s aren’t bought, they’re made. Back East, the Sun starts its day but by night it fades away. I find home in the whispering winds and the moving tides of change. Colors fade, but land remains and a heart will find its way. Give it time, but time won’t tell which soul we sell or trade. Cut it loose or set it straight, when foundations have been laid. Hold on when the current’s strong, a heart’s not bought but played. Make room for something new, old paths remain the same. I find home in the whispering winds and the moving tides of change. Colors fade, but land remains and a heart will find its way.

I Find Home 03:14
I Find Home We spend everyday just looking for a reason. when everything’s the same, just a different season. Different words, different rhymes, different games in a different time. I got hope that things can change. It starts with a view and ends with a range of emotions. You got heart and you got soul. We can change the world with devotion. In your eyes I find HOPE, I find dreams. I find everything I need except peace, it seems. Everywhere I turn, everywhere I look, someone’s got an answer but its from the wrong book. I think that I know and I think I can see. I got visions of you, I got visions of me. I got visions of the world, visions of space, visions of times and visions of places - when I find home. You got heart. You got soul. We can change the world, make it whole.
